It is difficult to find sensations comparable to the moment a sailboat begins to glide, the moment the boat takes off and is freed from the limitations of displacement. Until now, this experience required advanced knowledge of navigation. However, with the new BENETEAU First 30, the pleasure of gliding becomes something simple and accessible to everyone, whether you are an experienced sailor or a beginner.
The deck and bathtub, of generous proportions, have been designed with two objectives in mind: to optimize the space to create a spacious and comfortable relaxation area, while guaranteeing exceptional navigation ergonomics. There are two bathtub configurations available: one for recreational sailors and one for sailors. In the cruise version, the houndstooth of the main sail and the German-stocking system allow the floor of the bathtub to be completely cleared, while large winches facilitate the control of this main one.
The regatta version includes a larger car with a fine neckline adjustment system, creating a comfortable maneuvering area for the crew.
As expected from a BENETEAU sailboat, the First 30 has a distinctive, minimalist but comfortable interior, which offers spacious accommodation for four people in two cabins.
Among its most outstanding features we find a generous bow cabin and bunk beds in the living room that easily rival those of its older brother, the First 36. The same can be said of the large kitchen, which includes a gas stove with cardan, an optional refrigerator and a free height of 1.85 m.
The interior also features a bathroom with marine toilet and endless innovative and ingenious solutions, such as folding magnetic doors, removable textile cabinets and a folding kitchen extension.
In summary, the First 30 is an authentic planing cruiser that offers everything that families or couples need within a “home on the water”.
