The Figaro BENETEAU 3 is the first monotype monocoque with serial "foils" ever imagined. Concentrated on technology and innovation, it is the result of a collaboration between the best experts of the BENETEAU group and the architectural firm Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP), architects of the last three winning ships of the Vendée Globe. The prototype has been tested and the construction of the ship in series has been launched.

The loadbook defines the FB3 as a monotype as reliable as its predecessor, the FB2. It is equipped with "foils", a more effective and freed ballast fairing, a finer and deeper keel, a delayed mast and a more assorted and larger sail plane.
