The CENTURION 45 s, a very high quality racer / cruiser sailboat, with pure and aesthetic lines, suitable for seducing the unconditional of the benefits who do not want to give up comfort. In short, and according to the criteria of many navigators, it is a strong, fast and docile boat in its handling. The ‘Centurion’ concept, developed by Henri Wauquiez, is reflected by the shipyard’s commitment to build fast, very maritime, safe and high quality and durable ships.
The hull of 13.7 meters in length by a beam of 4.12 meters, is built with vacuum application and with infusion techniques that allow perfect control in the use of resins. The structure of the helmet has been manufactured with composite materials and longitudinal and transverse reinforcements laminated to the helmet itself. Therefore, the weight is minimized and stiffness is improved, resulting in an excellent ballast/displacement ratio. In short, better performance with any type of wind and an excellent tight. To further improve the helmet, the outer layers are made with Vinylester resins that increase protection against the passage of time and completely eliminate osmosis problems. Its lead keel is fixed to the hull by stainless steel screws, and on it rests the mast that is part of the same structure. The different elements of the ring are interconnected, ensuring the perfect distribution and mechanical balance of the tensions along the helmet. Rod harcia, double hydraulic backstay, stern platform….
The cover is fully lined in teak of unbeatable quality. In this unit all the teak was replaced two years ago, so it is totally new with sika lines in gray. All the halyh and maneuvers of the best materials (Dinema) pass guided under the roof of the deck, making it very comfortable, stylized and habitable.
The final result is a sailboat of impressive performance in any type of sailing, very maritime and always with excellent route stability. The great precision of the rudder allows total and permanent control of the boat helped by the practical arrangement of the different elements that allow us to maneuver from the cockpit.
The results in local regattas of this unit confirm its performance: 1º in Calpe – Formentera, 1º Diana de Oro… numerous regattas accredit its seafaring qualities.
Interior carpentry in solid teak creates a warm and comfortable environment. The floors are newly varnished and a protective carpet has been mounted.
Our ship, with three large cabins and two bathrooms, make a journey become comfort.
It is united by a single owner who has not noticed in always mounting the best for his boat. Only the detail of sails, all North, with a wide range for regatta and another for cruise. Candles, many of them totally new. (See equipment).
