What is it?

The Yachtman Beneteau Club Shipowners Program is an innovative co-ownership formula that allows you to enjoy a new sailboat, such as the Oceanis 37.1, sharing expenses and responsibilities between six owners. This system offers an accessible and uncomplicated alternative for those who want to sail without assuming all the costs and procedures involved in being the sole owner of a boat.

Why choose the Yachtman Beneteau Club?

Most boat owners only sail a few weeks a year. Despite that limited use, they must assume 100% of the purchase cost, in addition to taking care of bureaucratic procedures, insurance, inspections (ITB), maintenance, annual antifouling and the high cost of mooring. And the most common thing: that boat is not usually the one they dreamed of, but the one they could afford.

With the Yachtman Beneteau Club Shipowners Program, you can make your dream of sailing aboard a new sailboat like the Oceanis 37.1 come true, sharing the property with five other people. This way you drastically reduce the initial investment and annual expenses, but you keep the experience of having your own boat.

How does it work?

Legal co-ownership: Six people jointly acquire a new sailboat, each becoming the legal owner of a sixth of the ship.
Program duration: The contract has a duration of 6 years. During this period, any co-owner can sell their stake if they wish.
Annual use: Each owner has 8 weeks a year to enjoy the boat. The allocation of weeks is made through an application, following a rotating system based on the order of signing the contract, guaranteeing equity in the choice of dates.
Maintenance and management: Sport Nautic takes care of all aspects related to maintenance, cleaning, insurance, berths and administrative procedures, allowing owners to focus solely on enjoying navigation.
Annual maintenance: The boat is reserved 1 month a year to perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as antifouling and technical reviews.
Additional services: Before and after each use, the boat is cleaned and towels, bed linen and kitchen utensils are renewed. There is the possibility of customizing these elements for each owner.

Location and management

All the boats in the program are based on the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, where Sport Nautic has 28 moorings owned and offers maintenance services and technical assistance.
