EXTERIOR DESIGN
The First 44 offers 2 programs, FIRST 44 and FIRST 44 PERFORMANCE, with a different deck plane, and 2 keel and mast options.
In FIRST 44 version, the cockpit stands out for its manageability, with a beautiful outdoor table as well as for its fluidity, with access to the same height, to the wide and clear hands.4 winches and a fixed point of large sail sail scota, as well as the delayed mast, allow you to take advantage of a modern sail plane composed of a slender main sail and generous bow sails.
2 350-liter ballasts, electrically activated from the wheel consoles, offer the possibility of preserving the full potential of the ship even with a reduced crew.
In the FIRST 44 Performance version, the ergonomics of the deck plane has been studied to haggle with crew. The equipment is clearly regatta type, with above all, the non-slip foam that replaces the teak at the bottom of the cockpit, the 6 winches and the main sail neckline rail. As for the rigging and acastillage, a 1.50 m carbon dolphiner, a hydraulic backestay, a powerful return system, as well as an efficient mast and keel are in the program of this version that will satisfy the most demanding crews.
INTERIOR DESIGN
The First 44 enjoys a bright, modern and refined interior, combining white lacquer, molded wood and well-kept upholstery.
Composed of three cabins and two toilets, the interior is based on the quality of the finishes and materials to create a refined atmosphere.
In the living room, the transverse table can accommodate up to six people, in front of the sofa and the navigation post; its arrangement in relation to the mast facilitates the circulation between the kitchen and the owner’s cabin, which accentuates the feeling of space.
